A VOICERR WORKFLOW
Keep the conversation. Make the transcript useful.
For an interview, the useful result is a transcript you can verify. Bring an existing recording into Voicerr or record through the browser, then check the conversation before quoting it.
Open Voicerr ↗- Record or upload
- Review names and speakers
- Keep a verified transcript
Prepare a clear recording.
Use a source you have permission to record and process. For a new interview, select the recording source in the workspace and check the browser’s microphone or sharing prompt. Make a short sound check before a longer conversation; source availability varies by browser and operating system.
Choose the transcription setup.
Open Settings and configure a supported provider. Availability, processing limits, data handling and charges depend on that account and model. Upload the existing interview or use your completed recording as the source. Avoid starting with your only copy of important audio.
Check who said what.
Review speaker labels against the recording rather than treating them as verified identities. Similar voices, interruptions and a shared microphone can make separation difficult. Correct the labels and transcript where the recording gives you clearer evidence.
Organize for writing and follow-up.
Give the interview a useful title and tags, then use history search to find it again. Export readable text or a speaker timeline for your writing workflow. A transcript records speech; review and write any decisions, meeting minutes or summary yourself instead of assuming they are part of the transcription.
BEFORE YOU START
A few practical questions.
Can I use a recording from another device?
Yes. Transfer a supported audio or video file to the device where you use Voicerr and upload it in the workspace. Keep the original recording separately.
Are speaker labels verified names?
No. Speaker labels describe the provider’s separation of voices. Listen to the recording, identify the speakers yourself and correct labels before sharing the transcript.
Where should I keep the finished interview?
Export the result to storage you control. Browser history is useful for returning to work, but important recordings and transcripts should have a separate copy.
