A VOICERR WORKFLOW

From video audio to subtitles you can review.

A subtitle file needs more than recognized words. Use Voicerr to transcribe a video’s audio, inspect the result and export a timed draft for your video editor or player.

  2. Check words and timing
  3. Export SRT or VTT
01

Start from the video file.

Use Upload Audio or Video in the workspace. The task is transcription of the audio, so the quality and language of the spoken track matter. Select a configured provider and model that supports your input; browser format support and provider limits can affect which files can be processed.

02

Read the transcript before exporting.

Correct names, missing words and recognition mistakes against the video. Review speaker labels if they are present. A change of speaker in the audio is worth checking manually, especially when people interrupt one another or the recording contains music.

03

Inspect the available timing.

Timed subtitle export uses transcript segments. Timing quality depends on the provider output; absent, approximate or unusual timing needs review. A transcript that reads well is not by itself proof that every subtitle cue is aligned to the video.

04

Export and finish in your subtitle workflow.

Select the history item, open Download and choose Speaker Subtitles (SRT) or Speaker Subtitles (VTT). Load the file in your video editor or player. Check cue alignment, line length and speaker labels there before publishing; Voicerr exports a subtitle file rather than burning captions into the video.

BEFORE YOU START

A few practical questions.

Does Voicerr export both SRT and VTT?

Yes. The history download menu includes Speaker Subtitles (SRT) and Speaker Subtitles (VTT). Review the source transcript and its segment timing first.

Will the captions already be perfectly synchronized?

Timing depends on the source and provider result. Review the exported cues against the video and adjust them in a subtitle or video editor where needed.

Does this edit or re-encode my video?

This workflow produces text-based subtitle exports from the audio transcription. Add or burn in those subtitles with your video editing tool.

Put the recording to work.

Record or upload, review, then export.
